The Globe Inn is positioned at the heart of the South Devon town of Buckfastleigh. We are on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park and within easy reach of the A38. Some of our local attractions include Buckfast Abbey, South Devon Railway, Butterfly Farm, Otter Sanctuary, Caves and many more including The Valiant Soldier, a 1940's pub in a time capsule which is just at the end of the street. The Globe Inn comprises a comfortable and traditional bar and dining room with exposed beams, natural stonework and open fires to keep you snug on those chillier days and evenings. The accommodation is very comfortable, all rooms have a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and an ensuite walk in wet room. To the rear of the property there is a courtyard area that is very popular throughout the year but especially during the summer months. Although there is no car park on site, pay and display parking facilities are reasonably priced and situated directly opposite and to the rear of the pub. PLEASE NOTE: Check in is between 3pm & 10pm and check out is 10am. There may be an additional charge for an earlier or later than usual check-in time. There may also be an additional charge for a later than usual check-out. Please note we are a pub and there may be background noise at weekends from our busy bar. Please ensure you choose the correct rate: We offer both Bed & Breakfast rates as well as Room Only rates. If you choose a Room Only rate and then change your mind we may not have staff on site to cook a breakfast! It also works out cheaper to purchase breakfast at our B&B rate rather than separately.
