Gloucester House is a beautiful, AA Four Star Gold, boutique townhouse, dating back to 1790 and commands a prime position with unbroken views over Weymouth Bay, on Weymouth’s Georgian terraced seafront. Dorset is renowned for its wonderful sandy beaches, and beautiful coastal walks that wind along the unique Jurassic Coast. Enjoy a gentle beach stroll, as you take in the coastline, along Weymouth's two Kilometre promenade, on to the cliff-tops for breath-taking views. Our boutique townhouse, refurbished throughout in 2021/22, offers individually designed rooms in comfortable surroundings, where you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms range from our Premium Sea View Balcony rooms, Superior rooms and Classic Single, Double/Twin and Family sized rooms, all providing high standard en-suite facilities, Freeview TV, crisp white cotton linens and towels, Luxury toiletries and all rooms have a complimentary hospitality tray and water. You can certainly enjoy our AA Award winning, freshly cooked, locally sourced, Dorset breakfasts and you can always relax in our elegantly decorated lounge, which has its original listed features, cornices and windows, overlooking the Esplanade and beach. We do not have our own on-site Guest Car Parking. However, there are many paid for, on-street parking spaces or Pay and Display Car Parks close by. As we are a bed and breakfast, we do not provide restaurant facilities in the evening, however we are only a short stroll to an abundance of great restaurants and pubs.
