Resident owners, Josie and Ian Batchelor would like to welcome you to Edendale House which is situated at the northern end of Southport, in a leafy residential area of wide streets, offering peace and tranquillity; where all the houses were built in the Victorian era. There is a car park for residents. We offer an Over 65's discount when you book direct, please just let us know when you book. Our check in time is from 3pm until 8pm but if you do arrive early we are more than happy for you to leave your car on the car park just let us know you are here as your room may be ready for you. If you are travelling by public transport and you know you will be early, if you let us know in advance we can ensure we are home to greet you. If you are going to arrive after 8pm please do let us know. Checkout is 10.30am. If you can't find availability online it is worth giving us a ring, we can often 'tidy' up other bookings and find a space for you. All rooms have a comfortable seating area to relax after a day out, we have an honesty fridge for soft drinks and snacks to enjoy. For our guests comfort and safety Edendale House and grounds are non smoking. The dining room is delightfully decorated. Breakfast is served at separate tables between 8.00am and 9.30am, early breakfasts can be served with prior notice. The breakfast menu is quite extensive offering healthy, vegetarian and fish dishes. There are eight bedrooms situated on the first and second floors all accessed by stairs. Every room has a TV, free WIFI, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and en-suite or private facilities. Each room is individually decorated. Edendale House is only a short walk from most of Southport’s main visitor attractions, but less than an hour away from Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Preston, Lancaster and the Lakes, perfect for exploring.
