Castle Inn is a family run pub in Newport, Pembs, Wales. Newport is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The park is the only one in the UK to have been designated primarily because of its spectacular coastline. Voted the 2nd best coastal destination in the world in 2011. Over the years it has been preserved rather than eroded and commercialised. Visitors to Newport are walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The path is a designated trail est in 1970, and is 299km long. Newport is overlooked by Carningli a mountain in the Preseli hills. It dominates the surrounding countryside and this combined with Newport’s costal location creates beauty that is hard to beat Traditional Bar Split into two areas featuring a real open fire with traditional mahogany wall panels this area is a great place to spend some time with a quiet pint. The bar has a pool table, bar billiards table, darts board, juke box and projector screen The bar offers classic real cask ales (Cask Marque Accredited) and a good selection of beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks. A selection of Gin, Whiskey, seasonal Mulled Wine, Mulled Cider and Summer Pimms on draught are included Restaurant Refurbished 2017. Welcoming families & Children this area includes a cosy cwtch and log burner. Glyn & Alison have a passion for locally sourced, good quality food all cooked on the premises where possible. Due to the gardens aspect it takes advantage of the late evening sun Rooms Castle Inn has 3 rooms. Double, Triple and a Quad. The bathrooms are currently undergoing refurbishment and will be completed in mid-Feb 2018
