Visiting Brighton Pier?
There's so much to see and do
Because Brighton Pier has been featured in many Films in it's lifetime, including 'Carry On at your convenience' and of course 'Quadrophenia', it's a very popular tourist destination and many people look for bed and breakfast near Brighton Pier.
If you are looking for B&Bs near Brighton Pier you may also need to check out B&Bs near the Palace Pier Brighton, because It was only renamed Brighton Pier in 2000 and this is not recognised by many who still refer to it as the Palace Pier.
It started life on 7th November 1891 and opened some 8 years later in 1899 having cost a whopping £27,000 to build. It boasted a concert hall which was added 2 years later, and this was turned into a theatre in 1911.
In 1973 it was damaged by a huge 70 tonne barge that was moored there, and the theatre was never re-opened, it was removed in 1986 under the proviso that it would be replaced - but sadly it never was.
Brighton Pier is very close to Cineworld Brighton
if you fancy watching a Movie?
Many people searching for a B&B near Brighton Pier don't realise that it's listed, but if you're entering the Brighton Marathon then you will run right past!
