Description
Ideally situated in the area of the town known as 'Downalong', Nancherrow Cottage is literally steps from the Harbour, shops, beaches, the Tate Gallery and the town's many varied restaurants.
The cottage, which was originally a sail loft, has been constructed around an original ship's mast which runs the full length of the property and has now been tastefully renovated to become a comfortable character home offering quality accommodation and personal service from the proprietors' Peter and Jean Rowe.
Guest accommodation comprises of one king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower room and two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and one with en-suite shower room. All rooms are tastefully furnished and have colour T.V., tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers. Each of our rooms has its own fridge.
Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.30am and consists of a varied buffet table for the first course, followed by either a full English breakfast or some different choices such as French toast with warm summer fruits or maple syrup; toasted muffins topped with creamy scrambled eggs and smoked salmon; or smoked local haddock or kippers. We cater for vegetarian and vegan diets.
